People Who Can Fit Inside
We found Penny…
…way out west in the middle of Oregon, lonely and forgotten. She’d been completely stripped inside and was worse for wear after 38 years of trekking around the Pacific Northwest, but her engine still ran and at least three of her tires held air. Travis flew to Oregon with a suitcase full of tools and a few spare parts, hopped in and turned the key. Penny proved her worth, faithfully chugging along as they adventured across the Western US alongside beautiful rivers, up shivering mountain passes, and through rainy valleys.
By the time she reached her pitstop in Colorado, Penny knew she’d found her next big adventure.
Our original VW Bus, Guanella, brought us so much joy over the years that we started The ShutterBus to bring a taste of that joy to and adventure to others. We lovingly restored Nashville’s ShutterBus (“Penny”) and now she’s on the road again and ready for her photo-taking adventures in Tennessee and beyond!

Equipped with professional cameras and lighting, Penny has a knack for capturing the best moments. And not only does each person walk away with their own awesome little high-quality photo strip, but we also deliver all the digital photos once your event is over.

Let your guests cut loose and get silly with Penny; we have a variety of creative (and hilarious) props to add a little quirk and a lot of fun to your bus booth experience. You could even step into the bus and become a cowboy princess gangster with heart-shaped sunglasses. We’re just sayin’.
