Brown is everyone’s favorite color, right? Right?!
Maybe if it were 1978. Not in 2014! We’ll be swapping the brown seats and interior panels for something a little more mod and a little less poo-colored, but that story is for another time. For now, here are the ‘before’ shots of Nelly’s interior!
While the front seats are pretty beat, the rear seats aren’t in bad shape at all, and we’ll sell them to recoup some costs. We’re planning on using a full-width fold-down camper seat from a ’74 Westfalia bus so we won’t need them. These seats aren’t easy to come by in decent shape anymore, and we can probably get $5-700 for them. EDIT: Sold them to a local Denver fellow VW nut for $600. Everyone’s a winner here, folks! Great!
